March 4, 7, 10, 13, and 16 are Amethyst days, so March 16, 2002 is Amethyst.

March 19, 22, 25, 28, 31 and April 3 are also Amethyst days, so April 3, 2002 will be an Amethyst day - a day of work. Oh, well...

April 3,2001 would be an Amethyst, a day of work. There are 34 days from March 1 to April 3. 34 divided by 3 equals 11 plus 1; therefore, the 34th day would be an Amethyst day.
