Stupid, Cupid!

In honor of his patron Saint Valentine, Cupid wants to pierce the hearts of a few passers-by with his famous arrows.

Cupid decides to strike pedestrians at an specific intersection, beginning at a certain time on the morning of Valentine's Day. Each digit in the time that Cupid chooses is an even number, and each digit is different. If the digits add up to 14, and the time is between 8:30 and 9:00, at what specific time (in hours and minutes) will Cupid start to shoot his magic arrows?
