Place the Pigs' Plates

As the Royal Pig family sat down to enjoy dinner, they noticed something was wrong.

Princess Pig had a large feeding plate in front of her, Queen Pig had a small feeding plate in front of her, and King Pig had a medium feeding plate in front of him.

For the Royal family to begin their meal, Princess Pig must have the small plate in front of her, Queen Pig must have the medium plate in front of her, and King Pig must have the large plate in front of him.

What sequence of steps will restore the plates to their proper positions, provided that the Royal family follow these special rules?

• Only one plate can be transferred at a time.
• A Royal family member can hold two plates at once, but can only transfer the larger of the two.
• A plate may not be transferred to a family member who is holding a larger plate.
