Jamie's third man cannot be red or gold, since Steve has to have one of each of those. Jamie's third man is either blue or green.

If Jamie's third man is blue,

If Jamie's third man is green,

Your Solutions

This was a bit of a slow week with Spring Break happening in North America. But Minus was still well-fed by Bill Lagarde and his 10th grade geometry class at Wrenshall High School, Minnesota. Here's their delightful explanation:

If Steve drew:
2 blue then 1 green remains
2 green then 1 blue remains
1 blue and 1 green then either 1 blue OR 1 green remains.

Steve also drew one of each color.

Although this was late arriving at Minus' dinner table, he liked the effort that went into the dish and thought it deserved some credit. So, to the students at Bushwick High School in Brooklyn, New York, Minus extends his best from-the-belly BuRp!

If Jamie Rabbit draws a blue faced man, then Stevie Hare can draw two men in two different ways:
* two green with envy men leaving one blue faced man in the hat; OR
* a green with envy man and a blue faced man leaving a green with envy man in the hat.

If Jamie Rabbit draws a green faced man, then Stevie Hare can draw two men in two different ways:
* two blue faced men leaving one green with envy man in the hat; OR
* one blue faced man and a green with envy man leaving a blue faced man in the hat.

Thank you, Wrenshall and Bushwick High.
