Karen is getting married, and wants several friends to be her bridesmaids. Unfortunately, her friends are rather temperamental.

Angela will only be a bridesmaid if Cathy is.
Brenda will not be a bridesmaid if Angela is.
Dana will be a bridesmaid if Cathy and Brenda both are.
Elsie will be a bridesmaid so long as there are no more than four bridesmaids in total.
Frances will be a bridesmaid if Brenda isn't.
Gudrun will be a bridesmaid if Angela is.

Karen only insists that Angela, her friend since childhood, be a bridesmaid. How many bridesmaids can Karen have in total, and who will they be?
