The Reindeer Challenge

Rudolph, the red-nose reindeer, pounded his nose and is not available to lead the sleigh this year. Thus, Santa must choose another reindeer to lead the sleigh. Since reindeer are a competitive lot, Santa decides to pose a little math problem for his overly excited reindeer.

Santa visits 1 billion homes every Christmas Eve, at the rate of 20,000 per second (no wonder no-one ever sees Santa!!?).

At this rate, about how many hours will it take Santa and the reindeer to finish his Christmas deliveries, to the nearest hour?
