The greatest prime less than 300 is 293. 3 greater than 293 is 296.

Having decided to calculate this number, Thaddeus paused to consider whether he should turn to the page in question. As of last check, Thaddeus was still pondering...

Several DEN members thought that 299 was a prime number. Behold, 299 = 23(13). So, out of the whole lot, Minus only found one correct answer. Of course, Scott was smart enough to incorporate some help from the Internet.
